Default 1964 GMC Wheels and Tires

Hi GMC Collectors. I just mounted up my wheels and tires. I was able to purchase a NOS set of Dog Dish hub caps of of Ebay. Wow were pretty spendy but Brand New. Purchased the Goodyears a couple of months ago. Powder coated them in factory color. Pretty Excited. Wanted to share

Very nice. Does anyone know of some white 16” 8 lug wheels? Am in need of some to replace the original 3/4ton white split rims.

If you are not able to source GM stock 8 lug wheels, you can always get the Ford van wheels from late 80's to early 90's. They will accept a hubcap. They are 16x7 and they have "Accuride" stamped on them.

Just make sure they are not the metric variety which started around 1997. These rims are lug centric and not hub centric like the factory GM, but from what I have read, a lot of aftermarket wheels are lug centric.

Should be easier to find and much cheaper than the link below.

Dorman reproduces them if you can't find a used set

Although I recently went through the hoops to replace tires and tubes on the split rims (STA bias ply from Lucas and installed down the block by Nate Jones), I am realizing that I need another set of wheels with some stiff-*** radials, if only for highway miles (since I went with the very luggy Super Tractions).

Good issues being discussed in here.

I like those black wheels w/ your green truck. Mine is the same color, I may get something similar in lieu of the steelies I have on there now.
