Re: Is it my fuel pump?
Success, it took about 20 seconds but I did finally start getting gas through the pump. I hooked the fuel line back up and it started. Thanks for all your help. Now, to fix the brakes and what sounds like some lifter noise.

Re: Is it my fuel pump?
I wouldn't worry too much about the lifter noise since these engines are equipped with solid lifters, and they do require some clearance between the rocker arms and the valve stems. I can't quote the clearances required since I don't have that data right in front of me. It's been a long time since I've worked on any of these engines, so I'm just guessing here, but somehow .013 on the intake valves, and .017 on the exhaust valves comes to mind, and I believe those settings would be with the engine at normal operating temperature.

Re: Is it my fuel pump?
I wasn't sure if these had solid lifters or not, so thanks for that info. I knew they were solid lifters in 1967.
