Thanks for the add! 1963 GMC 1000 305 v6. Bought this truck out of nostalgia. Runs and drives (sort of) but needs lots of tlc. My Dad had GMC wreckers in the ‘60’s, and I had a million miles riding with him as a teen, and quite a few more driving after I turned 17. The sound of the v-6, feel of the hydraulic clutch and 4 speed bring back fond memories...

Your photo of your Dad reminds me of this photo of my Dad in 1965, shortly after converting the one ton panel into the one ton Suburban I still have.
