Default 62 Fire truck Build

Hi All,

I've been lurking for years (all the way back to the Jolly years) I picked up this fire truck from my fire department years ago with a seized engine (305E) After on and off attmepts to work on it, I finally found a 351 Engine a person was taking out of a 65 pick up (repacing with a short block Chevy, something I cnsidered for about 30 seconds)

We got it running and can now move it around to start restoring it section by section. Lots of cool attributes. SM420 with PTO for runing the small fire pump (which is also seized but I used to work on fire trucks so that shoud be an easy but timely fix.)

I also will have some random parts up for sale or free as I have accumuated some extras trying to get a complete package that works.

Steve

Very Unique and I'm glad you got it running. I'd love to see some interior photos.

Thanks for posting and Congratulations
