Default Np 435

Hey.
I have 1968 C30 with the 305E.engine. it has the NP.435.transmission. The.top cover has a break.at the shifter pivot points. I can't find the part as far as I can tell for whatever reason GMC was the only one with this part number C-97236. I don't know what the differences are in the cover. Can anyone help me either with having the part or know where to find one or if there is a different cover that I use. I believe I have a way to repair but I would rather replace it. Thanks.

Billez;

This site lists dimension differences along with part numbers for different covers, including the number you listed, along with a phone number to call for information.
I know nothing about them other than the search
