I have had many people look at my 1965 with the hood open and think the engine is a 348. The best one is when they think it's a HEMI by where the spark plug wires run too.

I've had the same experience many times at car shows -- people asking if it's a 348 or a 409. Then I ask them to count the spark plug wires and look where they go.
