FYI

Looks like somebody on Ebay is making GMC V6 exhaust manifold bolt french locks

I picked up a set haven't installed them but the do line up with my 305's exhaust bolts.

They are pieces of metal which have tabs that fold over to prevent the exhaust bolts from loosening. Mine are long gone, I've seen them on other trucks and like the look.

Cool, most are buggered up or rusted through. They are good to have, as the manifold bolts are only tightened to 15-20 ft lbs.

Would be an easy part to laser cut from a piece of sheet metal.
