3/4t GMC with 16" rims

Hello everybody,

maybe you can help me. Truck restoration is finished but I have problems licensing my 3/4 ton truck with 8 hole lug in Germany as a vintage truck.

The technical officer from the German TÜV says that the 16x6.5 inch rims are not original. Original would be 17.5 inches.

But if I can prove to him that 16-inch rims with 8 holes were also installed at the time (1960-66) on a 3/4ton truck, he will grant me vintage car status. Does anyone have any information or maybe even a sales brochure where 16 inches where mounted? I only found the list from 1960HDGMC where 17.5 inches as stock wheels are listed. Everything helps. The more paperwork the better here with us in our country

Here is reference from a 1962 maintenance manual (see attachment). This manual is also a supplement for 1963 & 1964. Hope this help.
