Default Re: Project Blown 305

Lots of stuff has changed.

Chevy c20 got swapped to a square body frame (do not recommend… add ps and 4x4 stuff up your stock from, much less work)

That chassis came with a 454… I sunk tons of money into that POS it runs again for the second time (1 flat cam later, tons of leaky head studs…)

So since that currently has an engine the gmc v6 project was moved to the 36 Chevy master coupe.
i lost the old 478 I had in a barn fire so I was reduced to using a 305… then I found a 478 that was in a boat with a billet front and rear plate for mounting and a billet from cover!
I had also developed a bellhousing adapter plate in 1/2” steel because some tool in the group convinced me he could make a flywheel that marges the ford f250 diesel setup with the v6 8 bolt flywheel… well that guy of course went MIA when I finished design and made a plate…
Fast forward since this was moved to the 36 Chevy and I convinced my dad (split project between him and I) to run the manual because I was most of the way there I shelled out the cash for a flywheel of my design made by CHI-NA (which is about to be here Thursday.
Also another thing I managed to do is throw a looooot of money at having my intake design printed in aluminum.
It looks epic and should perform nicely.

We also got the 350 Chevy yanked out, and the gmc c6 stuffed in (******, 305 for testing in pictures)
Turbos have been mocked up- transmission fits better than expected
