I can help with the rear disk swap. Its from a Honda passport or Isuzu trooper. I would keep the push pull steering. Crossover is nice on a dedicated trail rig with lots of flex. But its a cost. Need the passenger flat top knuckle. Have it machines. Add the arm. 3.54 with a stockish tire is not to bad without overdrive.

And just a good powerlok. Or Detroit is a lot less money than a selectable locker. I run Detroit lockers in All my rigs. Even the wife's wrangler. All the internet jabber about quirks is over blown.

Charon,
What front springs do you use? I noticed several had 325-450 in/lb ratings. I thinks stock is 500 in/lbs. I also have a complete spring/hangers, etc from a 1988 F250 that I am going to use on the rear since I have them. I think they are 58" long, 5 leafs with an overload. |
