Cecilia ('62) has gold knobs. Is that not normal? tastes like spraypaint.

I took a close look at my 64 GMC 1500 truck today, and the knobs that I thought were grey are probably black. They are a little faded or just dirty, but darker than grey. I should know better than to post what I think without checking.

My 65 has black for the lights, had no knob on the wipers, and the choke knob was the same color as the dash, though mostly worn off now. Of course from the pic below, you can tell that truck been well used.
