Thank you all.
I appreciate you helping a girl out.. i did get the ignition rewired and it is functioning currently but i am still leaning to the harness idea since I feel like it would save headache addressing one issue at a time... In the meantime after I got the ignition sorted the starter cracked... luckily it is just the starter and nothin with the motor but i guess I should just get used to this... Based on the starter mounting bolts i now believe that the engine is from a commercial Cadillac chassis from 1974. (AKA Hearse or Ambulance) which may explain why it seems haunted.. LOL |

If you mean the nose of the starter broke, I broke two starters before I realized I had a "hydraulic locked" motor. Check your oil for milk/gray color. Be careful. Not sure what "cracked" means and where...... but starters don't crack for no reason.
