Well, finally got the power steering done. I went with a different bracket I saw on another site. Had to customize it a little bit, but got it done none the less. The test drive was so nice with the new shocks and power steering

I went with the one showed in these pics...not my pics.

Just random post. As probably stated before, I haven't been doing much to my old truck except driving it. Been driving well since I got it way back in 2014. Hard to believe I have had it 10 yrs now!

Maybe you should introduce yourself with a new topic? Turn signals went kaput a couple yrs ago. Haven't been concerned with that, i just test the younger generation's knowledge of hand signals. Maybe you should introduce yourself with a new topic? Brake lights quit working not long ago, so finally had to start trouble shooting electrical. Turns out the aftermarket headlight switch had gone bad. I guess southeast humidity ruins them easily. It's only been installed about 4 years. Once those were good again I plugged my flasher relay in that I pulled a few years ago and with the TS lever in the "off" or "right turn" position I had all blinkers flashing like emergency hazards. Prior to pulling the relay way back when I had installed the Classic Parts switch (PN 53-507). So started checking wiring since the colors did not match truck colors. @AZKen has covered the color differences in quite a few posts I have seen. Once it was determined those were all in the proper place on the half moon connector, I disconnected the TSS from the truck harness and performed continuity testing while manipulating the lever between right, left, and off. This confirmed I had shorts in the switch causing all the lights to flash as previously seen. Took the TSS completely out and over to the bench to see what I could see. Turns out the blades inside were shorted in various places. See attached Original blades look much more stout. See attached. After fiddling with those flimsy blades I was finally able to get proper continuity to all the right places on the bench. So, reassembled everything and gave it a try...only rears signals would work. Putting a little extra pressure on the TS lever, i could get fronts, so still a switch problem. To view some links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. I hate to remove this thing repeatedly, as I have little spare time these days; so, is there a better aftermarket version of the TSS than what is sold by classic parts?
