1960 1001 Custom Cab short wideside BBW, 305A V6, factory PB, Hood Jet, Radio and Hydramatic.

1962 K1000 4x4 short wideside, BBW, 305D w/ SM420, PTO Winch

1966 1001 Custom Cab short wideside, w/ super rare Sport Trim option interior (bucket seats)

The vin plate on my 1966 is on the drivers' side in between the door and the air vent.

'63 GMC with plate on the A pillar midway from top of door and the curve in windshield. Has clear parking lamp lenses from factory. K Knotts, Ellisville Ms.

you almost had me Rusty - I have a 1960 GMC that does indeed have the VIN on a tag shaped like yours and in that location, but on yours the VIN is not actually stamped there - look above your door frame to see the VIN -

I don't know what the A and B pillars are, but my 64 GMC 3/4 ton pickup has the VIN number stamped in a plate attached to the vertical cab post above the door latch on the driver's side.
