I tried to make magnum exhaust gaskets out of a sheet of the same material as the regular exhaust gaskets. The scrapbook cutter I used didn't have enough pressure to cut the material. I wound up cutting them out manually. I was able to get set of magnum intakes from a board member.

They do not block anything, they are the same size. I have a 401M motor and 3 305s. The head ports are the same on the 401M,the only difference is the design of the 401 intake and the port for two cylinders are combined 305 Gaskets will work perfectly and not block anything. Dave

you must have a different 401M if the port size is the same as the 305, my 351E port size is alot bigger thus using a smaller 305 gaskets it hangs into the flow of the air/fuel mixture coming in, and or doesn't cover the complete gasketa surface area onto the outer edge ,sure it may seal up okay but may leak over time I just dont like the gasket haanging in the way from intake into cylinder head, did you see my pictures?

I'll post another picture tomorrow of the size difference of the ports 305 vs 351E, then may you can understand what I'm trying to accomplish, maybe I have a one of kind 351E with very large ports or the 401M were smaller then the 351E? I've only had 305s apart this is my first 351, you can clearly see the differences in size with naked eye, thanks

When I bought my 401M many years ago, it came with non-Magnum heads and manifolds. It's possible yours did too.

They are Magnum heads. The Exhaust ports are much larger. On the intakes 305 Felpro Gaskets fit perfect Magnum motors have larger exhaust ports and a redesigned intake manifold, not large intake ports. Dave
