478 M , Motor should be done in a couple weeks
Got the block back had to put a sleeve in it

They were brand new heads still in the GM box there was a little surface rust so we blasted them , new valves , rotaters and springs
Had to resurface them ther were some dry spots , basically do a valve job
They are pretty!!!
Hastings sent us the wrong oil control ring , so they will be coming Monday
Should have this baby back together in a week or two

Well I usually buy my tanks for my Peterbilt's at alenjack , but they were just too expensive so I got these from alumi tank , I kind of wanted them period Correct went with the flat ends in Lou of the Peterbilt Domed ends

I looked at the site. I like the international style step tanks too. Thats a lot of fuel outside the frame though.

Yeah I don't think they have those style of tanks on the GMC's or Chevys tell the 70s
You would just want to make sure that you had crossmembers real close otherwise it could bow the frame
