Re: 1962 Gmc dump truck
They were brand new heads still in the GM box there was a little surface rust so we blasted them , new valves , rotaters and springs
Had to resurface them ther were some dry spots , basically do a valve job They are pretty!!! Hastings sent us the wrong oil control ring , so they will be coming Monday Should have this baby back together in a week or two To view some links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. Re: 1962 Gmc dump truck
Well I usually buy my tanks for my Peterbilt's at alenjack , but they were just too expensive so I got these from alumi tank , I kind of wanted them period Correct went with the flat ends in Lou of the Peterbilt Domed ends

Re: 1962 Gmc dump truck
Thanks, they look good!
I looked at the site. I like the international style step tanks too. Thats a lot of fuel outside the frame though. |

Re: 1962 Gmc dump truck
Yeah I don't think they have those style of tanks on the GMC's or Chevys tell the 70s
You would just want to make sure that you had crossmembers real close otherwise it could bow the frame |
