GMC and Chrevrolet bodies come out of the same stamp whether canadian or us. canadian gmc have the same dash.instruments and bezels as the us ones do. the frames are identical. the only difference again is the engines, the same as you have stated for the 55-59 light duty trucks here are a couple of US GMC's that I have owned so I am a little familiar with them this one I bought for the body [IMG][/IMG] and this one which had a 305 hydramatic for parts ron |

Ron I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge that Canadian GMCs were built as a chivvy copy instead of a true GMC. It's not a dis, its just fact. They were built with chivvy parts because that was whats handy.

there is a book called the silver book which list all of the vendors for addition GM stuff
[IMG][/IMG] these following 2 pages list the vendors for crew cabs they are difficult to read, but sorry about that ron |
