Default Original Oil Canister - Lettering

Hello

I would like to ask if someone has a photo of the oil canister with the original font/lettering/logo?

Mine has unfortunately faded and I would like to restore it.

Tom

I am curios to see one. All the ones I have seen were black and no sign of the GMC lettering on it. Hopefully someone has one to share.

Look at the two engine on the right. Best that I can tell this is the decal you need.

Thank you, James.

Yes, rests of the decal can still be seen on my canister. For example the AC. I have just found a photo in the chevy forum

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...71&postcount=5

Should be the type PF-122. I will try to identify the rests on my canister and make a new decal.

I saw that one too but it didn't match the one in the picture. Hope you can figure it out.

So, I think i figured it out.

The decal on the first foto is from the engines of 1960.
The design on my 305e from 1965 changed and corresponds to that in the Chevy Forum. I have currently created a vector graphic (should be the right text) and will print a sticker these days.
