2nd gear sm420
Well, I finally have a second gear on the way. Is there any tips and tricks anybody can enlighten me with? While I've rebuilt a 4 sp transmission before, it's been years ago and it wasn't a sm420 lol. I'll just be glad to get this mule kick of a shifter fixed cause **** can it kick...as always thank you in advance for any advice that can be given, need all the help I can get lol.

Re: 2nd gear sm420
One quick question...umm how do ya get the shifter off? I've tried a couple of methods I read about with no luck, is there a pin going through the assembly holding it on?

Press down on the ball from the top and turn to the left or counter clock wise.
