Default New here

I bought my 1965 gmc a couple of months ago. I dont see too many long bed GMC's but I really like them. The truck is currently running and im looking into changing the rear to 5 lug (Currently 6 lug). I dont really know how to work on cars but I'm going through a trial and error process. I'm in Dallas TX so if anyone is near me that can maybe give me some tips i'd really appreciate it. Ill post more pictures when I get the chance.

That looks like a nice truck, and a great starting point.
Why would you want to change to 5-lug wheels in the rear?
Does than imply you will not be changing the fronts to 5-lug, or are they already 5-lug?
I would think you would want them to all be the same...or carry two spare tires?

The front was converted to 5 lug disc brakes and the rear is still 6 lug. I want to put the Ridler695 rims 20x8 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. So I'm still deciding on how I want to convert it. The engine is a small block 350 and I'm not sure about the tranny. Can we get discounts on A/C kits?
