Default Emblem identification

I have a 66 GMC Suburban V6, automatic, pb, deluxe trim, all four sliding windows, originally sold new in my home town. This emblem was on one side of the hood. Can it be identified please. The other side of the hood has the correct emblem on it.

I have a collection of various V6 emblems, including the one in your photos. What I can't answer, though, is what particular model that one came from. I suspect one of the bigger and perhaps later models of GMC. The V6 was available in the big trucks up through 1974, long after being dropped from the "light duty" trucks like most of us have half way through the 1969 model year.

Default Re: Emblem identification

That appears to an emblem used on 66-67 larger series H & E series trucks, that were not equipped with the Magnum V6
