Default SM318 transmission mount question

Hi all, 305V6 in 1964 GMC 1500 (3/4 ton) with a SM318 transmission.

The transmission tailhousing has a spot for a transmission mount but there is no provision on crossmember for one that I can see. I've combed through the part manuals with no luck. Do these have a mount for the transmission or is it just suspended off the bellhousing and the bell housing is mounted?

They just hang off the bell housing, IIRC. I've had mine out twice but I can't remember to save my life. You can look through my rebuild step by step pictures here and see if it helps.

Seems like the first time i took it out I took the crossmember bolts loose, then realized it wasn't necessary. You just need to remove the four bolts holding it to the bellhousing, disconnect the shift linkage, and take off the drive shaft, and bobs your uncle

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.
