Default Repair manuals

The factory service manuals are nice. But I really like the old motors truck repair manuals. They are really easy to find online for about 10 to 30 bucks. I have every other edition from the 3rd to the 28th. And about ten of the car ones. I like these because you really get a feel for the common parts between makes. Now I am lucky because I have over 100 manuals going back to 1908. There is always 4 or 5 on the radiator next to my bed. So I recommend these as a must have for anyone playing with this old stuff. Barry

My local library has quite a few. I take pictures of all the pages pertaining to what I'm working on. I guess they were the All-Data© of their day?
I never thought to look for them on E-bay.

I must agree! The old Motors Manuals make Chilton look like a comic book.
