Default More Turn Signal Issues

I was able to cobble together a turn signal switch solution, and thanks for all the advice that led me to not having to buy a $250 NOS switch. Now I am having another issue. The entire turn signal/ring assembly on the top of the column won't stay in place. As far as I can tell, there are only three screws that hold it to the column, but there is no groove/latch/indent etc., that prevents it from rotating on the column. Am I missing something obvious? No pictures because I am not excited about tearing it apart again, especially in an Arkansas summer, but I will if someone has a good idea.

Default Re: More Turn Signal Issues

You seem to have a column shift.....so:
1. You have a shift collar rotates moves as you shift. Retained by one screw that is adjusted for tension.
2. You have a "bell", or turn signal housing, that is held to the column with three tabs. The bell is twisted to lock it on the tabs. Like a bayonet.
3. You have a turn signal switch and a switch cam. The switch cam is held to the switch with one screw and that assembly is held to the bell with three screws.
4. The switch does not rotate. The bell does not rotate.
5. There is a cancelling cam on the bottom of the steering wheel that operates the switch cam.
Anyone can feel free to correct anything above.

We don't know if you have that set-up and if you have installed correctly.
We don't have any pictures.
We don't know what your complaint is or what does and does not work right now.
We need more info and explanation to have any "ideas"
You say "cobbled", does that mean non original or you modified parts or are missing parts????????????

You signature lists your Truck as a C1000, you should fix that.
