Hello again to all. Would anybody know what you call that small hose behind the waterpump on my 305 v6 motor 1961. Is it a by pass hose?? Also where can I get a new one? already looked on rockauto. my problem is I don't know what is't called.http://6066gmcclub.com/forum/images/smilies/afraid-1347[1].gif

Hey Fartman! Take it down to OReilleys or NAPA and they'll cut you a new one. I don't know what it's called either but thats what I've heard you need to do.

It's called "straight hose", and yes you can get it at NAPA. I got enough length to have spares.
