Stock Y-pipe replacement
6066 Crew-
I have a '63 with the 305 V6 and want to build a custom true dual exhaust. Does anyone have a good part number for the stock Y-pipe from the manifolds? I want to get a new one and modify it to make a true dual exhaust. I've searched, Googled, did a chant and can't find a proper part number. Any and all help is appreciated. CAPT Dan |

Re: Stock Y-pipe replacement
FYI, offered a Y pipe that came off a 305 V6 for $35. Asked for pics, then said he will pass. I don't know what he wants.

Re: Stock Y-pipe replacement
It is in good shape. Surface rust only. Arizona part. I would have media blasted it for you. Good luck on your project. Thanks for the response.

Re: Stock Y-pipe replacement
if you dig one out that doesn't have the collector end cut off like that I would be interested. I only want a survivor with no cuts for what I am doing

Re: Stock Y-pipe replacement
I have a very nice original Y-pipe, but it would have to come from Europe though...

Re: Stock Y-pipe replacement
Here is what a Y pipe is supposed to look like on the tailpipe end - this is what I was talking about where yours got sawed off. Most people probably don't care and would weld to that cut end on yours, but for my purpose I need to hold out for a boltable one like this example
