Default 33" tires on a 1965 k1000

Wondering if I can fit a 33" 255/85/16 tire on a stock k1000. I think I have seen photos online of 33's on this type of truck. I just don't want to add a suspension lift. Thanks.

I have LT235/85R16E tires which is 31.7" diameter and they fit fine. I can turn stop to stop without the tire rubbing on anything and still have plenty of room.

What rims are you planning to use?

Should be fine. Not the height you have to worry about as much as the width. And to be quite honest....I'm running 32's on a 2wd 64 GMC 3/4 ton. No problems here.

My K1000 Suburban with stock suspension has 32x11.50R15 tires on it. The metric equivalent of 11.50" width is 295 mm. They fit fine with plenty of room around them.

36" 12.50's on my stock k1000. No interferance but fer a touch sidewall rub at the P-steering box at the rt. turn stop. Not exactly OE. The springs are OE.
