Default Prototype Emblem?

This photo was submitted from another forum and I'm just posting it here for others to see.
No one was able to come up with the origin, so I figure it was some type of prototype that never made production. Maybe someone here knows about it.

GMC's did not have 2 chrome strips down the side, only 1, and they did not have the stainless steel panel either, some one must have made them. Kieth

I saw that photo, too. Looks like a period photo to me (note the tires and the perfection of the grey truck). It very much resembles a factory photo to me. Looks like a prototype emblem and side trim design that didn't make the cut. Doesn't look like something someone just whipped up. All the manufacturers had rejected design prototypes like this. Would sure like to see the whole truck in profile. Has anyone seen other photos of it?

All I can find is this:

Certainly appears to be a 1964 concept truck. Note that you can see an enlarged photo by clicking on the small one.
