Very interesting! Ironic that truck likely originally had a V-12 in it. Seagrave manufactured a couple of their own gasoline V-12's, I believe the smaller one was actually based on the Pierce-Arrow V-12 of the 1930's. There was also a large version, something like 906 cubic inches. Great engines in their day, but the designs dated from the early 1930's, and being flatheads they were not exactly efficient. The GMC V-12 was probably a big improvement, even over the Seagrave 906. I believe Seagrave built some apparatus in the 1960's with factory installed GMC V-12's.
