Default 305E Vacuum Readings

I just finished putting a 500 Holley on and was setting the idle jets with a vacuum gauge. The most I could get was a whisker over 15 in vacuum at idle. The motor has about 800 miles since complete overhaul, and I was using a SnapOn gauge. Does that sound about normal for a 305? Thanks, Dave

Seems low Quigley, I have about 20 on mine, stock except the Holley.
