Default Battery cable

I am almost done restoring my 1960 1000 fenderside and I need some help. Can some one tell me where the negative battery cable is connected? Is there a ground cable between the engine and frame?
I also need a horn and a '60 305A distributor (with the mechanical advance on top and the points adjusting window)

Thanks,
Terry

My negative cable is connected to the rear bolt on the bracket that acts as the engine mount and generator mount. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks. Is there a ground strap between the engine and frame?

Terry, that's a good idea to add one; and frame to body as well. If you mean factory; I'm sure there has to be.
