Default Door adjustment to 66 1/2 ton after installing new door rubber

I just replaced the cab door rubbers on my truck after painting and am not able to get the doors to close completely. They will latch, but are still probably 1/2 to 3/4 inch from closing on the latch side. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get the doors to close and align properly?

My cousin's '56 had issues like that with new seals...it calmed down after a hot summer.

When you replace the door rubber its new and puffy. If your doors are aligned right then they'll shut after spending a week - 10 days in the sun. If you cant put them in a sunny spot for 7 days Ive read you can take a hair dryer to them and warm them up, close the door, and keep them closed for a couple of weeks.

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.
