let me explane this again, I removed this truck from a house in Oklahoma. the realtor said if I removed it that he would give me a bill of sale which he did, I did not get a title. the previous owner of the house left it there abandoned, after phone calls and certified letters no luck, that's when I came in to play. I removed it and a bill of sale. I took it to the dallas sheriffs office to make sure it was not stolen and get a texas vtr 68a wich starts the title process, and you know the rest

Hi Bob,

Unfortunately the previous comments are correct. Unless added manually with one of the many $12 metal punch stamps available online, you will never find a 60-66 GMC truck with the VIN number on the frame. However, all may not be lost. Many of our members have pulled up the VIN page that Ed mentioned earlier in front of title office employees and successfully received a title.

That link once again is http://6066gmcguy.com/VinNumber.html.

I hope this helps, and I wish you success on your journey. These are amazing trucks made from true American strength that deserve every opportunity to be resurrected.

Have a great night,

-Jeannie

thanks for everyone who has posted,i have not gave up as of yet, and I would like to keep the 305e in place, as I have heard so much about the V-6 . the only reason for me to talk about the 350 is if the 305 cant be rebuilt, I was looking for something to replace it, but at last ditch efforet
