WE7X: The part number you gave me for napa is correct: 59-8146. They don't have one anywhere in the nation though, so I'll need a core to send in to be rebuilt. Now I have to find one in a junkyard.

tommr: Do you know of another place that might have one?

Thanks.

Dan,
I see it listed at Advanced Auto parts by that Cardonne part number, and also on Amazon.com. Neither shows it out of stock

BTW, my bus is air brake equipped. If you have a link to the part, please share the link. I cannot find the part anywhere after months of searching. If you know of a place that has it in stock, please provide a link. Thanks,

-Dan

Does your pump have a threaded shaft or a flange with 4 tapped holes?

It is threaded. The part number that WE7X gave me shows the right unit: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...146_0412425179

As seen on the above link. Thanks

hey dan. another guy was asking about an air brake pump back in may 2014. search this site using key words-- water pump air brakes-- there are part# in that thread. just start googling those #s. when you google some of the search results will be from yoyoparts.com and kakaparts.com. while those 2 sites don't actually show the part for sale they do serve as an interchange list with more part #s. just start googling those #s. im sure these dry up at some point but you should be able to turn one up. good luck tom

All of the parts websites have it on file, but you can't check to see if it is in stock online. Napa shows it on their page, but the guy at napa checked their computers and showed no record of one anywhere in an affiliated store in the US. I see the part on Advance's website, so I will go and have them check records, but I have a good feeling it will be the same case. I also ordered one online once and it was the four-hole style pump and did not fit.
