That restoration completely convinces me I live in the wrong place. That 50+ year old steel looks GREAT. I'd have to check under my 3-1/2 year old brand new pickup but wouldn't be surpized there's some rust started. I know my last new truck, a '96, 25 years almost to the day has serious cancer issues. Too many harsh Wisconsin winters. Wasn't as bad when they just used rock salt on snow/ice, now they put brine solution down the day before a winter storm.
