Could we see some pics? I am eventually wanting to get A/C for my v6 and not have to ditch the p/s.

Unhappy Re: Adding AC to 1961 305 V6

Yea I installed power steering with the help of this forum. Sure hope I don't have to ditch it. I'll probably have someone install the AC. I see on Vintage Air website that a place in town (Jacksonville) installs them. But I'll have to see how much they charge first. Man this truck is really running into a lot of money. I was just going to fix it up a little but now I'm really into it, painting, new white wall tires, painted the motor, buying, buying, buying. Thank gawd my wife isn't to mad at all of the money I'm spending. hahaha

That's normally how it goes, on my 64 I blew a freeze plug on the back of my 305's head. Well, changing out a freeze plug turned into a near full rebuild!

I have a question. Does the V6 305 considered to be a big block and does it have a long or short water pump?

Well Vintage Air told me they don't make a kit for my truck. He did say they make a universal kit though. I don't know enough about AC to do that:-( someone has to make a kit for my truck. I know there are other trucks out there just like mine that have AC.
