Default Help with Emblems

I have a 1960 with the round V6 fender emblem. I have painted my motor with Ford Red. What are the opinions. Was the V6 top red paint same as motor? Should I paint the top area Ford red. Some original survivor emblems I've seen seem to have a darker red. But maybe it's my computer and maybe it's because we don't know exactly what red the motor/emblem was. Most say Ford Red is the closest. Not going to repaint my motor. So Ford red or a different, red'er red for the emblem. Every opinion welcome. Thank you

Every time I see a GMC motor or emblem, I think I see orange red, red orange, light red or dark orange.

The Ford red should be just fine! Another color I used that was real close was Porsche Guards Red but that doesn't come in a spray can.

Ken,

I attached 2 pics of the emblem. One painted and one chrome - both are factory scheme. I have the chrome set on my truck.

Here is how they turned out with Ford Red and Rustoleum Deep Blue. The actual original blue is a few shades darker but I like this blue. Thanks to BBV6 and Jake for the inputs.
