What do you think of "Glamorous Green" PPG paint color? Metallic with blue pearl.

Re: Lee Forbes 66 C10
Welcome to the club!
Hey you said its a C10, but thats a chevy name. Is it a GMC 1000? Or a 1500? I cant tell by the hood, I dont know the difference but some guys can spot it. That green is pretty sharp! Nice looking '66 Chevy. Try the 67-72 Chevy truck forum for tons of advice on restoring/modifying your Chevrolet truck. The site caters to Chevy trucks from 1947-2015.

Re: Lee Forbes 66 C10
It's a Chevy C10. Lots of interchangeable parts so I thought I would share. I'm looking for a few pieces to complete my built. I need the "Closing Panel" cor both sides inside the fenders. These hold the gaskets that keep wheel splash from the fender to cab area in the wheel wells.

Wow! That is awesome...! but at first look, I had a heart-attack; it looks like there is a pair of HUGE SCRATCHES on it! Then, I squinted closely, and think it must be just a reflection off of your gutters... That, and the fact that YOU would have been having a heart-attack, too...! Re: Lee Forbes 66 C10
Great job on the paint. You obviously used a booth -- what kind of gun setup did you go with? Also, do you have pictures of the reassembled truck floating around here?
I'm learning HVLP now, via my local community college. Took the welding & paint prep classes last year, and am just about done with the paint finishing class. |
