Default MSD Fuel Injection for our V6's?

To expensive I know, but would it be worth it? If it works for V8's I don't see why it wouldn't work for a V6. Better mileage and smoother performance? I'm almost considering trying it when my 66 is done. Be a neat or not so neat experiment.

Could you not more cheaply adapt the fuel injection from a tbi v6? Ive tossed the idea around. A simple reprogram to the chips from a scrapyard v6..a little more time maybe but I imagine several hundred dollars cheaper

I'm sure you could. Guys in the past talked about doing it, but man this would be neat!

im guessing you would want to use the injectors from a v-8. 305 small block. would be be better to match injector size with cubic inches. i dont no what you would do with the dist, and timing curve.

Neat thing about the MSD atomic is that is has the injectors built into the throttle body. No injector ports needed.

GM TBI would be relatively cheap and would improve cold weather performance . also a gear change in the axle or an overdrive trans.

Ok. You all advocate big cfm carbs. 5-600 cfm. Not sure why. The most a 305 can pull before the rod bolts break is 350cfm. So small gm tbi... 430cfm... Engineering says 450. But efficiency goes to crap at 400. My curves say 410. After that nothing is good.just using my brain.....
