Default Fuel pump to Stromberg WW Carb steel line needed

One of you surely has a spare line that some how survived without getting cut - generally these screw into the GMC filter housing rather than the carb so looking for one that survived so I can run a correct bolt together pump and correct carb mounted filter - if anyone has one text or call me at 256 486 1988
Thanks, Steve

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.

That would be good to know because I already thought I might could just bend a new one by hand if I had some line stock handy.

I always gone down to the auto parts store and bought a length of brake line (longer than what is needed and it has the SAE fittings, not the metric fittings) and bend it, starting from the lowest connection moving upward, a section at a time. Then make the final cut and double flare the end. I always place the fuel filter before the fuel pump to keep the trash out of the pump. But one can be placed just after the pump if you prefer. Never place an external fuel filter above or around the exhaust manifold/exhaust pipe.

If you are using the stock carb, use the paper element filter instead of the compress metal filter. The metal one plugs up too easily. The spring goes in first then the filter with the filter opening facing the fuel line.

Also use a backup wrench when installing and removing the fuel line from the big filter fitting. Otherwise you could have a leak.
