Howlin' at the Moon Truck & Car Show
Ok here is the Offical Thread for my Truck & Car Show.
Show Date is June 14, 2014 from 5pm to midnight. This Show Will go on into the Night under the Full Moon. There will be a Vehicle Lighting Contest & Valve Cover Racing. To Be Held at the Y-Farm Red Shed on Highway 38, Honeyville Utah Area, Look for sings north of Brigham City & South of Honeyville. If you follow me on FaceBook you can find all the info here: Howlin' at the Moon. I have also made up this flyer that can be printed or saved as a picture file.  I'm also making awards out of some old SBC 350 pistons. thay will be a lot like the one I won last year at the Willard round-Up.  I should have 20 or more of these.....

 Howlin' at the Moon update. I have taken the Pistons from 3 junk CSB 350s off to the Powder Coater this week, so there will be 24 awards givin out, if that many show up anyway.... some of those pistons can be seen in this pile of parts....  There may also be food servered, so it coming to gether fairlly well, if you live close by, bring out your GMC and win a CSB piston Award.

I need help coming up with 24 awards for my Show in June, Here is what i have so far:
1. Lighting Contest Winner 2. Valve Cover Racing Winner 3. Best Emergency Vehicle 4. Best GMC Big Block V6 5. Best 1960 -1963 GMC 6. Best 1964-1966 GMC 7. Best 1960-1966 Chevy 8. Best 1947-1954 Chevy/GMC 9. Best 1967-1972 Chevy/GMC 10. Best 1954-1959 Chevy/GMC 11. Best Rat Rod 12. Best Rat Rod Truck 13. Best Class 8 Truck

I picked up one of the Pistons for the awards, looking good, there will be 24 of these plus 75 dash plaques, Jelsco Awards in Harrissville is doing the plaques, and Sharp Power Coating in Brigham City is doing the pistons. For some reason Purple aways comes out looking blue on my coumpter...

Was over to the powered Coater today, here is what they had done, I counted 17 Piston Cups, when its all done, there will be 24 to give away.

Ok here another update on my show coming up on June 14th, 2014. Today I picked up the Pistons for the show Awards.
 Bet you can't spot the one NOT from a Chevy Small Block 350. Here are the dash plaque sample Designs for my Show, there will be 50/50 in Red/Blue. the "and" will be replaced with "&". T-N-T Engraving in Brigham City got this Job, the price for 2" round plaques will be $1. I ordered these today.  I also had 3 timing gears done for Rocker/Valve Cover racing awards.  Anyone from this forum coming to the show will get Free entery.

I got the Dash Plaques in this week for the show, they look great.
the Show will be going foreword as planed next Satuerday Night starting at 5 pm.

Howlin' at the Moon is over, I had 16 enter and a few more folks just stop by to look.
after dark we turned on the lights.  Had only one GMC from the 1960-66 range.  This is a nice old truck.  Only one HHR as well, wonder who it belongs to?  The Slide show is here ~~~> Howlin' at the Moon.
