Default Main Bearings

Are all main bearings the same from 305 to 478 and 1960 to 1974? Anyone still supply them new or is NOS the only option?

When you find out, let me know, looks like the sources are dried up and I'm wondering if I will be able to rebuild this block.

I'm starting on my 478 stroker build and am a little worried about it. Is there anyone that makes custom bearings that could crank out a set or two? I only need the mains as I will be using either Big Block Mopar or Chevy rod bearings...

Main bearings are the same on all displacement V6 engines other than the 1973-74 478M engines, these engines had completely redesigned bottom ends with larger diameter mains.

I've frequently have seen main bearings sets on ebay, possibly try Rock Auto as well.

Rock Auto has been dried up on main bearings for some time. Any other leads?

Sent an email to Thunder V12, I would think that they have a source.

Provided that 702 mains are the same as the rest...

If not keep an eye on ebay type in federal-Mogul 4067M
I hit pay dirt today and bought a .020 under set for $95

There is another set on there from the same vendor https://www.ebay.com/itm/Federal-Mog...AAAOSwupBcv4C7

Hope I did not break rules by posting this link.
