Re: Air Cleaner question
Ken:
I haven't done that swap, but I read somewhere on here about someone who did. Their solution was to buy a new bottom from jeg's or speedway with the right center for the Holley and reuse the GMC top. You may be able to search the archives and find it. That was the best idea I saw for this dilemma. Regards Steve New Orleans |

Re: Air Cleaner question
It depends on what air cleaner assembly your truck has. My truck had the later style flat snorkel type and I was able to use ac AC Delco A212CW air filter with a generic 14" Holley air cleaner base with the stock lid. There is a small gap between the aftermarket base and the original lid, but the filter seals fine. 14" air cleaner bases are available from Summit Racing, I used a K&N 85-3545 which has a 1" drop.

Re: Air Cleaner question
Thanks Funky and Bob. Thanks to Jake. I had the same questions in post 21, but Jake never answered.
