Re: Big truck dash
Looks good. Sure brings back memories. I had that dash in my '62 GMC 6500 although it had a Tach Delete insert.
Not sure exactly what you have there, but my smaller gauges were Air, Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Fuel.

Re: Big truck dash
This is what you use to build a custom gauge set for you light truck, its covered on the website, Custom GMC Instrument Cluster, and shows the one I built for my 1965 2500, but it will most likely end up in the Rescue Squad now.
When building one for a pickup you need to make sure you have the 100 mph speed-o, some of the bigger trucks have one that only foes to 80 mph.

Re: Big truck dash
Jolly, I believe my '62 6500 Speedometer only went to 80.

Re: Big truck dash
I never saw a Vacuum gauge before in a '60 to '66. Would be a cool gauge to have.
I always wanted to put a aftermaket Air Compressor under the hood to have Air Pressure on board and connect it to a Factory Air Pressure gauge, but never got to it. Bill

Re: Big truck dash
Mine is not a big truck but thought I would post what I did to my C1000. I put new decals on the main cluster, a SW tach and a clock from Bob's speedometer. Had to cut out the holes and hand paint with chrome silver around the edge of of everything and spray painted the background semi-gloss black...Vernski
