Default Re: 1961 GMC Shocked When Bracket Broken

Hi Doug,

62 mph winds and 2-3 foot drifts sound like a blizzard. If it gets worse, I'd say, pack the family in the GMC. With a V6, or something close, that might be the warmest spot in town. Hang in there, in a couple of months we'll see spring.

In the mean time, I'm charging the camera battery and getting ready for my next GMC project.

Regards,

Culver

My 1960 K1001 has both brackets broken. one has been gusseted and the other not fixed yet. Still trying to think of a better way. Can you please provide a part number and vendor if you ever find replacement front shocks? thanks.
