Looking for some experience I have a dead spot in the throttle between 750 and 900 RPM do you think it is timing related,Carburetor.

Sound more like the accelerator pump not adjusted properly or worn out. It should start squirting as soon as the throttle move.

Accelerator pump out of adjustment and vacuum leak to the distributor running perfect now thank you for the help
