GMC 5500 Truck with Big Block V6
I have been following this forum because of my 64 GMC pickup with a 305E V6. I recently purchased a 1965 GMC model 5500 truck with a 351C V6. It is in decent shape overall, but needs a tuneup, fuel system work, and some worn out parts replaced. Can anyone recommend a place to get parts for these larger GMC trucks? The engine looks the same as used in pickups, but fuel system, cooling system, cab, and other parts are different.

Re: GMC 5500 Truck with Big Block V6
NAPA has alway been a good place, most of the small town dealers have guys that know these trucks. in the bigger cities you mite find some young kids wrking behind the counter they wil try to tell you they didn't put Ford engines in GMC trucks.
