64 GMC swb transmission
Hey guys
I'm wanting to swap my 3speed transmission 64 GMC swb to a 3 speed synchro transmission. Can anyone give advice and part# and model of a suitable transmission. Would a SM326 work and be a direct bolt in. Thank in advance for any advice. Jeff |

Re: 64 GMC swb transmission
Tech tip right here in River City.
http://6066gmcguy.com/3-to-4-speed.html I believe the Synchro 326 is a bolt in for a non Synchro 318. May need slip yoke change (spline count), and possible: linkage, speedo cable, and speedo gear modification. BW OD available for those. Hens teeth. Last edited by AZKen; May 23rd, 2016 at 07:27 AM. |
