Stock trans adapter
Got my hands on a trans adapter for my 305 and didn't realize that the flywheel is heavy as ****. For a stick there normally heavy but for a automatic a flex plate is five pounds. With a normal flywheel you can lighten them is it possible to lighten the automatic one I have?

Re: Stock trans adapter
Hello Otto68;
That flexplate is heavy. What transmission are you going with and what engine/truck combo? Sounds interesting but not sure about the lightening up part.

Re: Stock trans adapter
Its eventually going into a 68 c15 long bed behind a 305E. Right now I have no idea what trans I'm going to use. That is the easy part. The hard part is gathering everything I want for the rebuild.
